Job summary

Stripe is seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager for its AI-focused accounts in the San Francisco area. You will develop deep relationships with key stakeholders, plan technical account activities, and ensure strategic guidance across engineering, product, and business teams.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver operational solutions, own complex discussions, and drive adoption of Stripe products across large AI accounts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise-level client-facing experience.
• AI industry expertise including monetization models and global payment methods.
• Strong product sense and consultative problem solving.
• Proficient written and verbal communication; able to lead complex integration conversations.
• Familiar with APIs and able to explain API concepts to Stripe's technical customers.
• Proficient in SQL and comfortable building complex queries.
• Experience with AI coding agents to solve problems.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide a gold standard experience to assigned accounts' key stakeholders.
• Work with the wider Operations team to provide current state, resources, and knowledge to enable a gold standard experience across teams interacting with the user via support channels, external documentation, or product/feature feedback or development.
• Foster long-term user relationships that grow loyalty to Stripe and Stripe products.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams and user organizations to provide and implement operational solutions on fraud/disputes, declines, product adoption, and global expansion.
• Lead user-facing meetings both in person and through video chat.
• Collaborate on the continued design of this support offering.
• Create user-facing content for long-term solutions.
• Partner with other Technical Account Managers to deliver differentiated technical support.
• Engage in frequent on-site visits with AI users to surface challenges and deliver strategic guidance to their stakeholders.
• Drive publication of user case studies.
