Job summary

MD Helicopters, LLC is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead the procurement team and ensure the timely, cost-efficient acquisition of materials and services across production, aftermarket, and company programs.

The role focuses on driving supplier performance, managing MRP-driven purchasing, and developing strategies to reduce cost and mitigate risk while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFAR, ITAR, and AS9100 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in supply chain.
• Minimum 7–10 years of procurement or supply-chain experience.
• 3+ years of direct leadership experience managing procurement professionals or a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a procurement team.
• Drive supplier delivery, quality, cost, and lead-times.
• Manage sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, and supplier selection.
• Develop procurement strategies aligned with cost, quality, delivery, and risk.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR, ITAR, AS9100 and government procurement requirements.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Contracts, and Aftermarket.
