Job summary

Triumph is seeking a seasoned Sourcing professional to lead supplier selection, negotiations, and strategic sourcing for aerospace components. You will manage supplier performance, develop key relationships across regions, and drive cost and schedule optimization with cross-functional teams.

This role requires deep knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, material specifications, and governance standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a Sourcing environment
  • At least 7 years of experience in a Sourcing position, including negotiation involvement
  • Expertise managing complex machines components and aerospace manufacturing processes.
  • Strong knowledge of material specifications, machining processes, special processes, and applicable industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead supplier proposals, negotiations, and cost analyses to optimize purchasing.
  • Maintain program-level supplier performance trackers and ensure delivery schedules are met.
  • Develop and train suppliers to improve performance and align with business requirements.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with domestic aerospace machine suppliers and regional suppliers.
  • Travel up to 25–30% to support supplier development and site activities.
