Evercore seeks to hire Strategic, Defense & Shareholder Advisory Summer Analysts in New York for Summer of 2028. The 10-week program provides undergraduates with a strong interest in investment banking, shareholder activism and corporate governance, with exposure to blue-chip clients and a fast-paced environment.

Analysts will create materials on activist activity, engage in analytical research, and support client presentations while gaining experience across M&A and governance-related projects.

Formación

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree with a graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029.
• Finance or Accounting major (preferred).
• Intellectual curiosity with an interest in finance and shareholder activism.
• Superior analytical skills and demonstrated excellence in academic coursework.
• Be ambitious, self-directed, creative and resourceful.
• An excellent, team-based attitude.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Relentless work ethic and high energy level.
• Excellent communications skills, both written and oral.
• Calm under pressure with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Create materials regarding hostile activity, shareholder activism and corporate governance for client presentations and internal meetings.
• Perform analysis on identifying companies' vulnerabilities to activist shareholders or potential acquirers.
• Work on live activism and raid defense situations, contested M&A and special committee assignments.
