Evercore seeks a Summer Analyst for the Capital Markets Advisory team in New York. The 10-week program focuses on evaluating and developing capital structure solutions across credit and equity, supporting buyside M&A and growth capital opportunities.

Analytical, communication and teamwork skills are essential. You will collaborate with senior bankers and gain exposure to multiple product areas, in a boutique, fast-growing firm environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree with a graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029.
• Demonstrated excellence in academic coursework and leadership on campus.
• Strong interest in special situations, leveraged finance and minority equity transactions.
• Curiosity in private markets (credit and equity).
• Outstanding analytical, communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic, outgoing and achievement-oriented character with a great work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Develop market views across private equity, leveraged loan, high‑yield and private credit markets.
• Prepare materials supporting views for internal and client presentations.
• Structure and evaluate debt and/or equity commitments related to buyside M&A opportunities, minority equity transactions, growth capital raises, and credit solutions.
• Perform financial modeling and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Coordinate with industry and M&A bankers and other product functions on holistic capital structure mandates.
