Job summary

Pennsylvania Institute of Technology seeks a Director of Advancement to lead fundraising strategy, donor cultivation, major gifts, corporate and community partnerships, and advancement operations. Reporting to the President, you will collaborate with leadership to strengthen philanthropic support and expand PIT’s visibility and networks.

The role requires serving as a strong external ambassador, growing external support, and coordinating with the Development Coordinator and Senior Grant Writer

Qualifications

• Must have fundraising techniques and donor engagement experience.
• Experience in higher education or nonprofit advancement preferred.
• Ability to lead and supervise staff and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the College’s overall advancement strategy including fundraising and partnerships.
• Meet prospective donors and partners to establish and strengthen relationships.
• Develop and manage a major gifts program with identification and stewardship.
• Direct donor and prospect development activities with support from staff.
• Oversee advancement reporting and donor tracking systems.
• Coordinate Board Development Committee meetings and engage Board of Trustees.
