Job summary

Brother Rice High School in Bloomfield Hills, MI seeks a Chief Advancement Officer to lead a six-person advancement team and direct fundraising, alumni engagement, donor stewardship, and operations. reporting to the President, this leader will partner with the Board and leadership to secure philanthropic support for tuition assistance, endowment, capital improvements, and other priorities.

A strong Catholic mission alignment is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CFRE preferred.
• Demonstrated success in advancement, fundraising, or related field with ability to build relationships.
• Experience leading major gifts, annual giving, endowment campaigns.
• Ability to lead staff and collaborate with senior leaders and board.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive advancement plan aligned with mission and financial goals.
• Manage major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, and endowment growth.
• Strengthen alumni and community engagement and cultivate volunteer leadership.
• Provide strategic oversight of advancement operations including donor records and reporting.
