Job summary

Brother Rice High School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, seeks a strategic Chief Advancement Officer to lead a six-person advancement team and strengthen the school's mission and financial sustainability.

Reporting to the President and collaborating with the Board, this leader will shape fundraising, alumni engagement, donor stewardship, and advancement operations to support tuition assistance, endowment, and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or CFRE preferred.
• Demonstrated success in advancement, fundraising, and donor stewardship.
• Proven ability to secure major gifts and lead campaigns.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration with school leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive advancement plan aligned with mission and goals.
• Lead donor strategy for annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, and endowment growth.
• Oversee alumni and community engagement, including events and volunteer programs.
• Direct advancement operations, ensuring data integrity and timely donor acknowledgments.
