Job summary

Jacksonville University is seeking an Assistant Director of Admissions Events & Engagement to lead the design, planning, and execution of admissions events and campus visits. The role includes coordinating with facilities, catering, IT and enrollment marketing to deliver a high-quality experience and aligning events with enrollment goals.

You will supervise student ambassadors and collaborate with the leadership team to ensure smooth operations, training, and successful recruitment activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field or admissions experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset for internal and external audiences.
• Experience using a CRM to develop events, multi-level communications and reports.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, implement and manage customized admissions events and campus visits.
• Consult with Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions on event logistics with leadership and campus partners.
• Coordinate with facilities, catering, security, IT and other teams for event setup.
• Collaborate with Enrollment Marketing on in-person and virtual events in the CRM.
• Support River House event management including scheduling and floor plans.
• Book spaces and resources and arrange equipment as needed.
• Coordinate staff roles and train student workers/ambassadors.
• Lead event meetings and manage setup and breakdown.
• Gather feedback and drive improvements for future events.
• Assist with scheduling campus tours and tour guides; support off-campus events if required.
