Job summary

Bossier Parish Community College in Louisiana is seeking an Assistant Director of Admissions to lead enrollment and recruitment efforts for BPCC’s varied programs. The role emphasizes collaboration across academic and student services to boost access, enrollment, and student success.

The position supervises staff, develops partnerships, and implements data-informed strategies aligned with BPCC’s enrollment plan, with emphasis on dual enrollment and high school pathways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Four years of experience in higher education, admissions, recruitment, enrollment management, student services, high school programs, academics, marketing, sales, or a related field, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in Admissions, Recruiting, or Student Services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and shared document environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing data-informed recruitment and enrollment strategies aligned with the College’s Strategic Enrollment Management Plan.
• Monitor and evaluate the prospective student enrollment funnel, including inquiry-to-application and application-to-enrollment conversion, and develop strategies to address gaps and improve matriculation.
• Establish recruitment goals, territory and outreach expectations, performance measures, and regular assessment of recruitment activities to determine their effectiveness in generating applications and enrollment.
• Use the College’s CRM and other enrollment technology to support prospective student engagement, targeted communications, recruitment campaigns, follow-up strategies, and conversion efforts.
• Develop and coordinate recruitment efforts for traditional students, Dual Enrollment students, adult learners, workforce students, military-affiliated students, and other priority populations.
