Job summary

Memorial is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to coordinate patient admissions by receiving referrals, performing readmission evaluations, and serving as a liaison among referring facilities, payers, the facility, and the Medical Director.

You will network with hospitals and physicians to ensure smooth placement, oversee the bed profile and census, manage authorizations, and supervise the admissions office to support quality care and financial goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• AHCA Background Screening in Florida required.
• Five years' work-related experience in post-acute care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions by reviewing referrals and readmission evaluations.
• Foster relationships with hospitals, physicians, patients and families for clear communication.
• Review payor status, contracts and authorizations to ensure timely admissions.
• Oversee bed management, census, revenue metrics and admission department performance.
