General Dynamics – Bath Iron Works is seeking an administrative professional to support the Planning Department. You will help manage budgets, run data reports, and coordinate onboarding and communications across teams.

The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to produce clear presentations for leadership reviews. A collaborative, team-oriented environment supports ongoing development and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years’ experience in an administrative role or similar.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong data analytical skills; ability to simplify complex info into spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety compliance and support Safety Action Team initiatives.
• Manage Planning Department overhead spending and budget.
• Perform Time Accounting (WFM) and PeopleSoft administration; develop reports and dashboards.
• Oversee onboarding of new employees including IT asset/access requests.
• Coordinate meetings, communications, and office organization among departments.
