Job summary

General Dynamics - Bath Iron Works seeks a Data Process Engineer to analyze supply chain processes, design desktop tools and dashboards, and resolve data issues through to root causes. You will embed with the Supply Chain team to understand workflows and translate needs into sustainable technical solutions.

Proficiency with MS Access, MS Excel, Power BI, and Tableau is required, along with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong curiosity and drive to resolve problems accurately.
• Proficiency with MS Access, MS Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• 2 years of experience developing dashboards or small applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain processes to identify pain points and automation opportunities.
• Develop desktop tools, dashboards, and applications using MS Access, Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Investigate data issues thoroughly until root causes are identified.
• Build repeatable data flows providing accurate, timely information.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to understand workflows and translate needs.
