Job summary

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. (HJF) seeks a Management Support Specialist to deliver comprehensive administrative support for the Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence (TBICoE) in Silver Spring, MD.

The role includes coordinating HR activities, onboarding, SOP development, and documenting task progress. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 4–6 years' experience, with strong organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate TBICoE support agreements (MOAs/MOUs/DSAs/CRADAs) and provide monthly status reports.
Develop TBICoE Annual Training Plan and track training compliance.
Assist with hiring process and onboarding/offboarding.
Review DoD/DHA/Directives to ensure TBICoE SOPs align with higher authority SOPs.
Draft correspondence and policy letters for TBICoE review.
Serve as TBICoE action officer for HR, training, rosters, etc.
Report project status to Government lead and alert on potential issues.
Maintain TBICoE's SharePoint as point of contact.
Manage daily TBICoE HQ operations: supplies, rosters, space, seating chart, inventory.
Perform records management upkeep and training.
