You’ll support underwriting policy interpretation and prepare client-facing materials. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and strong Excel, Windows, and Office skills, with a preference for finance or math background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years within employee benefits field in an underwriting capacity.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
• Advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Math or Finance degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from carriers on clients and provide recommendations to account management or clients to negotiate rates and funding levels.
• Evaluate, present monthly, quarterly and annual client financial reports and track expenses by product line, renewal projections, funding levels, and rates.
• Evaluate, assign, monitor and peer review underwriting reports and provide input for presentations and campaigns to clients and internal staff.
• Act as a resource on industry trends and technologies for account service, consulting, new sales, and additional sales to existing clients.
