Job summary

FLTREADCEN EAST, part of NAVAIR, seeks an Acquisition Programs Specialist in the MRO Logistics Department (JC4). The role covers acquisition planning, organizing and managing tasks across the full life cycle, and aiding in planning, directing, and administering assigned program elements and contracts.

You will prepare required acquisition documents, analyze and present cost data, and execute contracts while monitoring funding to prevent under- or over-obligation.

Responsibilities

• acquisition planning, organizing, and managing tasks and projects for the entire acquisition life cycle
• planning, directing, controlling, and administering assigned program elements/resources
• preparation of required acquisition documents, analysis, formulation, presentation, and execution of contracts
• review, prepare and maintain post award documents on each contract, invoices, memorandums, modifications
• maintain funds status by various management accounts to insure under/over-obligation does not occur
• analyze and evaluate cost or pricing data elements to determine price reasonableness
