Job summary

FLTREADCEN EAST, part of NAVAIR, seeks an Acquisition Programs Specialist in the MRO Logistics Department (JC4). The role covers acquisition planning, organizing and managing tasks across the full life cycle, and aiding in planning, directing, and administering assigned program elements and contracts.

You will prepare required acquisition documents, analyze and present cost data, and execute contracts while monitoring funding to prevent under- or over-obligation.

Job description

You will serve as an ACQUISITION PROGRAMS SPECIALIST in the MRO Logistics Department (JC4) of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for acquisition planning, organizing, and managing tasks and projects for the entire acquisition life cycle.
• You will assist in planning, directing, controlling, and administering of assigned program elements/resources in connection with the assigned areas.
• You will perform a range of duties related to preparation of required acquisition documents, analysis, formulation, presentation, and execution of contracts assigned to the Industrial/Acquisition and Procurement Division.
• You will review, prepare and maintain post award documents on each contract, invoices, memorandums, modifications, etc
• You will maintain funds status by various management accounts to insure that under and over-obligation does not occur.
• You will analyze and evaluate cost or pricing data elements to determine price reasonablenes.
