Job summary

Astrion seeks an Acquisition Strategy and Documentation Principal to support the Cloud One program at Maxwell AFB, Montgomery, Alabama. This senior role requires US citizenship, a Secret clearance, a bachelor's degree, and extensive AF acquisition experience to develop strategy, documentation, and RFP materials.

You will coordinate with IPTs and stakeholders, draft acquisition plans, review proposals, and ensure compliance with ACAT I processes under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• US citizen with ability to obtain/maintain US Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and 20 years of program management experience, 10 in AF acquisition.
• Experience with ACAT I programs and acquisition strategy documentation.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for briefings, plans, and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and with IPTs under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Research cyber defense products used by DoD and other entities.
• Support acquisition strategy reviews and develop supporting documentation.
• Develop plans and acquisition strategies to meet technical requirements within cost/schedule.
• Assist with mission execution including operational planning and analysis.
• Participate in technical evaluations and monitor contractor deliverables.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand program requirements and emerging technologies.
• Oversee junior and mid-level personnel within the discipline.
