Job summary

Astrion is seeking an Acquisition Strategy and Documentation Principal to support the Cloud One program at Hanscom AFB, MA. This full-time role requires a Secret clearance and senior-level acquisition experience to craft strategy, draft ACAT I documentation, and coordinate with DoD stakeholders.

Responsibilities include evaluating cyber defense products, developing acquisition plans, and leading documentation efforts to stay within cost and schedule constraints.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Must have and be able to maintain a US Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and 20 years of program management experience, 10 of which must be in AF acquisition.
• Knowledge of ACAT I program acquisition strategy and related documentation.
• Advanced AF program management acquisition knowledge and apply standards, procedures, and practices.
• Experience with strategic issues and ability to work independently or in a team under deadlines.
• Experience developing RFP documentation and supporting Acquisition Strategy reviews.
• Experience working with technical requirements, implementation plans, and test plans.

Responsibilities

• Research cyber defense products used by DoD and other entities.
• Collaborate with IPT to evaluate significant issues and develop corrective actions.
• Assist PM by developing plans and acquisition strategies within cost and schedule constraints.
• Support mission execution including operational planning and analysis.
• Participate in technical evaluations of proposals.
• Review and track prime contractor deliverables and schedules.
• Stay current on future capabilities and decision makers' needs.
• Support Acquisition Strategy reviews and RFP documents development.
• Support program management reviews and senior-level meetings.
• Prepare briefs and schedules for status updates to management.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to address needs and address warfighter gaps.
• Oversee junior and mid-level staff within the discipline.
