Job summary

CSS is seeking a Senior Specialist – Strategic Account to support strategic customer relationships and develop long-term contracts through services including sales support, material sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain coordination.

Responsibilities include managing orders, enabling account plans, expediting materials, and communicating changes to customers while maintaining strong relationships and leveraging process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree - Sales, Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant field preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience maintaining and developing key relationships.
• 5-7 years with sourcing, RFQ and business support administration.
• Strong verbal, written, persuasion and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• 5+ years of industry product knowledge preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in supporting business and customer service preferred.
• Ability to travel 0% - 25%

Responsibilities

• Key point of contact for customers, suppliers and our operations team to manage order entry and fulfillment.
• Support and coordinate the execution of strategic account plans and playbooks.
• Expedite material to meet contractual obligations and customer requirements.
• Coordinate regular, scheduled account reviews, identifying and resolving problems.
• Support implementation of new tools and process improvements to support departmental strategy, with support from senior management.
• Maintain reporting for internal and customer requirements.
• Source alternate products as needed to maintain delivery schedules or stock requirements.
• Execute customer requests with operations team to ensure delivery and packaging requirements are met.
• Communicate promise date, material, delivery changes, manufacturer defects, etc. changes with customer.
