Job Description
As a Strategic Account Manager for our Therma-Tru brand, you will develop and execute sales strategies for key national and regional accounts in the pro-dealer and R&R segments. Your focus will be on building customer partnerships, collaborating on repair and remodel strategies, enhancing in-home selling initiatives, and aligning internal resources to drive revenue, satisfaction, and profitability.

Location: This is a remote position managing a national territory. Preferred locations are Texas, Florida, or the Mid-Atlantic Region. Up to 30% overnight travel expected.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop and execute annual business plans for strategic accounts, focusing on growth
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement in-home selling strategies and category growth plans
  • Support and grow our dealer network, understanding distribution channels and dealer connectivity
  • Serve as the main contact for assigned accounts, coordinating sales activities and communication
  • Analyze customer needs to recommend tailored solutions that increase sales and profitability
  • Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions
  • Forecast demand and ensure accurate sales reporting
  • Develop and implement customer-specific programs, promotions, and training
  • Represent the brand at trade shows and events
  • Drive strategies to increase market share and improve product mix
  • Streamline communication with internal teams for service excellence
  • Gather market intelligence on pricing, trends, and competition

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of sales, marketing, or sales management experience with national retail partners
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze market conditions and develop strategies
  • Understanding of Marketing, Finance, and Operations
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexibility to seize business opportunities
Nice to Have:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
  • Experience in Consumer/Durable Goods, preferably Building Materials
  • Familiarity with CRM software
  • Self-management and prioritization skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated and independent work ethic

Additional Information
