Strategic Accounts Manager, Pro-Dealer Accounts

As a Strategic Account Manager for our Therma-Tru brand, you will lead the development and execution of sales strategies for key national and regional accounts in the pro-dealer and R&R segments. Your focus will be on building customer partnerships, collaborating on repair and remodel strategies, enhancing in-home selling initiatives, and aligning internal resources to drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Location: This is a remote position managing a national territory, ideally based in Texas, Florida, or the Mid-Atlantic Region, with up to 30% overnight travel.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and execute annual business plans for strategic accounts, focusing on short- and long-term growth.
  • Partner with Channel, Brand, Finance, and Sales Enablement teams to implement in-home selling strategies and category growth plans.
  • Support and grow our dealer network, understanding the distribution channel and dealer connectivity.
  • Serve as the main contact for assigned accounts, coordinating sales activities and maintaining stakeholder communication.
  • Analyze customer needs to recommend and implement tailored solutions that drive sales and profitability.
  • Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions, aligning with market managers and regional leaders.
  • Forecast demand and ensure accurate sales reporting for strategic decisions.
  • Develop customer-specific programs, promotions, and training to meet account goals.
  • Represent the brand at trade shows and national events, cultivating relationships.
  • Drive strategies to increase market share and optimize product mix within accounts.
  • Collaborate internally to streamline communication and ensure service excellence.
  • Gather market intelligence on pricing, trends, and competition to inform strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven sales, marketing, or sales management experience with national retail partners.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze market conditions and develop strategic responses.
  • Strong understanding of Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects.
  • Flexibility to maximize business opportunities.

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
  • Experience in the Consumer/Durable Goods industry, especially Building Materials.
  • Familiarity with CRM software.
  • Self-management skills and ability to anticipate market opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Salary range: $93,000 - $130,000 USD, with potential bonuses or incentives based on performance. Benefits include health plans, 401(k), product discounts, flexible time off, inclusive benefits, and Employee Resource Groups.
