Job summary

IFAB Corp in Gastonia, NC is seeking an Accounting & Process Manager to own day-to-day accounting, close cycles, and oversee AP/AR while driving process improvements.

You will design controls, implement standard costing and cost accounting relevant to fabrication operations, and report to the Controller.

The role demands hands-on leadership, strong GAAP knowledge, and the ability to partner across departments to strengthen financial discipline.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close ownership.
• Experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, or a job-shop/cost-accounting environment.
• CPA license preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial statements and schedules for Controller.
• Maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and documented procedures.
• Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable clerks.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with treasury activities.
• Support cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to leadership.
