Job summary

IFAB Corp is a mid-sized metal fabrication company delivering precision stamping, forming, welding, CNC machining, assembly, and painting for demanding industrial customers. The Accounting & Process Manager will own day-to-day accounting, manage the general ledger, and drive improvements across controls and procedures.

Reporting to the Controller, you will lead the AP/AR team, ensure timely close, and design scalable processes that reduce errors and elevate accountability across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7 years progressive accounting experience with month-end close ownership.
• CPA license preferred but not required.
• Experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
• Experience with Sage 500 or similar ERP; ERP changeover experience.
• Familiarity with standard costing, inventory, and variance analysis.
• Experience in process improvement or internal-controls projects.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations.
• Supervise AP/AR clerks and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Identify process gaps and design new procedures.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to leadership.
• Support cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
