Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking an Accounting Office Manager in Champaign, IL to oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax filings, and financial reporting. The role emphasizes accuracy, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with leadership to drive financial health.

You will manage weekly payroll, monthly taxes, and year-end tasks while ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Payroll experience
• Understanding of Accounting principles and procedures
• Strong Analytical, Verbal and Written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable- Invoicing, Collections
• Accounts Payable- ACH Payments, Invoice Entry
• Process Weekly Payroll along with payroll tax disbursements
• Process Monthly Sales Tax along with Material Job Cost
• Process 1099?s; W2?s; Quarterly Payroll Taxes
• Preparation of financial reports, including balance sheet and income statement
• Assist with year-end audit and payment of taxes
• Perform other tasks as assigned
