Job summary

TGG Accounting in Choteau, MT is seeking an Accounting & Office Manager to own the financial operations, including accounting, billing, cash flow, and office administration. This hands‑on role shapes how the firm operates as it grows, with a focus on the business side and operational improvements.

You'll manage project accounting, close monthly cycles, and drive processes across the firm. Flexible to split time between Choteau and Great Falls offices with onsite work.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience with project accounting, billing, payroll, AP/AR, and monthly close.

Responsibilities

• Own project accounting, billing and invoicing, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable for surveying and engineering operations.
• Run the monthly close.
• Perform job-cost analysis and track budgets against project parameters.
• Clean up and reduce outstanding AR and unbilled work, build repeatable billing and collections processes.
• Establish formal cash-flow forecasting and budgeting.
• Work in QuickBooks Desktop and support migration to Sage or an enterprise platform.
• Evaluate vendor and acquisition costs and make recommendations.
