Job summary

Magris Talc in Three Forks, MT is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, fixed assets, and month-end close.

You will lead a team, ensure accurate financial reporting, support budgeting, and strengthen internal controls while coordinating with auditors and other departments. This role requires a CPA/CMA and 7+ years of accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional designation preferred.
• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years of accounting leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions.
• Manufacturing, mining, industrial, or multi-site operational accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all accounting activities related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Travel Expense Management, and Intercompany Transactions.
• Manage close activities and coordinate year-end audit processes.
• Oversee vendor payment processes and cash disbursement controls.
• Oversee customer invoicing and collections processes.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting with the Senior Financial Reporting Analyst.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure IFRS compliance and accurate financial reporting.
