Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Accounting Experienced Manager, Special Projects to lead complex accounting projects across the company and its subsidiaries, including entity integrations and policy execution. You will partner with corporate accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury, internal audit, and subsidiary finance leaders to deliver GAAP/IFRS-compliant reporting and strong controls.

The role requires eight or more years in accounting/finance with strong leadership skills, and may involve CPA consideration.

Qualifications

Eight or more years of accounting and finance experience.

Responsibilities

Leads accounting projects across subsidiaries including entity integrations and restructurings.
Oversees intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and close/reporting improvements.
Prepares and reviews complex journal entries and memos for nonroutine transactions.
Coordinates monthly/quarterly close support and alignment with parent reporting deadlines.
Assesses technical accounting impacts of acquisitions, dispositions, and cross-entity activity.
Strengthens internal controls and supports audits and statutory reporting needs.
Drives process improvement, automation, and ERP/reporting enhancements.
Leads a team ensuring timely and accurate task completion.
