Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Accounting Experienced Manager, Special Projects in Gulfport, MS to lead complex multi-entity accounting initiatives, including consolidations, intercompany matters, ERP changes, and policy execution. You will collaborate with corporate accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury, and audits to ensure GAAP/IFRS reporting with strong controls.

The role requires 8+ years in accounting, 5+ years in management, and a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 8+ years accounting/finance experience.
• 5+ years management experience.
• Public accounting/Big Four experience preferred.
• Experience with multi-entity companies.
• Project management and cross-functional leadership experience.
• CPA accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead special accounting projects across subsidiaries and entities.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
• Prepare complex journal entries and accounting memos.
• Coordinate monthly/quarterly closes and balance sheet support.
• Assess technical accounting impacts of acquisitions and cross-entity activity.
• Strengthen internal controls and assist audits and reporting.
• Drive process improvements, ERP/reporting enhancements.
