Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics (FTR) Accounting team. You will own accounting for manufacturing initiatives, partner with multiple departments, and translate GAAP into scalable processes.

Responsibilities include supporting ERP implementations, automating controls, and ensuring accurate month-end and quarter-end reporting as the business scales. A CPA and COSO knowledge are preferred credentials.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance or related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting for manufacturing and emerging FTR business initiatives, including inventory, fixed assets, capitalization, and other complex transactions.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Product, Tax, and Technology teams to develop accounting solutions as new products and business models are launched.
• Research technical accounting questions and translate U.S. GAAP requirements into practical, scalable business processes.
• Support ERP implementations and finance transformation initiatives, including requirements, testing, controls, and deployment.
• Identify opportunities to automate and simplify accounting processes, improve reporting, and strengthen financial controls.
• Support month-end and quarter-end reporting while helping the organization identify and resolve accounting risks as the business grows.
