Qualifications

• 8+ years in accounting with consolidation focus and close responsibilities.
• 7+ years ownership of outcomes, accountability and results.
• CPA certification strongly preferred or encouraged.
• Strong KPI reporting and financial analysis capabilities.
• Ability to mentor staff and ensure accuracy in work product.
• Experience with budget-to-actual reviews and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Flag variances promptly and manage timely closures.
• Maintain NV property-tax filings and deadlines.
• Process expense reports efficiently to avoid delays.
• Build and present budget-vs-actual reviews for Reno managers.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and review their work.
• Pair consolidations forecasting with downside risk assessment.
