Eide Bailly LLP in Reno, NV is hiring a Client Accounting Services Manager to lead client relationships and oversee daily accounting operations for multiple clients. You will serve as the primary accounting contact, ensuring accurate month-end closes, timely reporting, and adherence to budgets.

The role requires strong GL knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to implement technology to streamline processes. In-office or hybrid work arrangements are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level accounting degree preferred; equivalent education/experience may be substituted.
• 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience required.
• Strong preference for construction industry experience.
• CPA or CMA license preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of general ledger accounting and principles.
• Ability to adopt technology and streamline processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manages client relationships by monitoring client needs and delivering value.
• Serve as a key contact on day-to-day accounting matters for clients.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting needs, acting as the client's accounting department.
• Review bank activity and other accounting transactions for clients.
• Review reconciliations of client bank, credit card, and loan accounts.
• Review month-end balancing, journal entries, and GL analyses.
• Communicate month-end results to clients.
• Ensure timely completion of month-end processes for clients.
• Review and ensure distribution of Forms 1099/1098/1096 and related tax forms.
• Provide mentoring and technical training for Client Accounting Services staff.
• Perform client billings for accounting services provided.
• Ensure timely and accurate performance on assigned projects.
• Maintain compliance with budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines.
• Make recommendations to streamline processes.
• Provide feedback to develop outsourced accounting practice.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell Eide Bailly services.
