Job summary

Vantage is seeking an autonomous, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join the Finance team in ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls. You will drive monthly close, assist with journal entries and reconciliations, and collaborate with a global team across departments to support allocations and reporting.

Responsibilities include reviewing costs, tenant billing, and SOX-related processes, with opportunities to participate in audit prep and cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or equivalent experience required.
• 3-4 years at a public accounting firm or 7+ years in accounting required.
• Real estate experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of GAAP required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to collaborate across the organization and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices, journal entries and other transactions for proper cost classification.
• Support tenant billing and ensure costs are billed per lease agreements.
• Determine reimbursable vs non-reimbursable costs and report lease expenditures.
• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
• Research discrepancies and process correcting entries and reclassifications.
• Prepare audit documentation for internal and external auditors and assist with year-end processes.
• Handle quarter-end fixed asset duties and other duties as assigned.
