Job summary

Jobot is seeking a strong accounting professional to serve as the right-hand to the Director of Finance. The role focuses on ensuring financial accuracy, producing statements, overseeing AP/AR, and guiding the accounting team in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality/real estate environment.

Responsibilities include month-end closes, audits, and maintaining GAAP compliance, with opportunities to streamline operations through technology and staff development.

Qualifications

• Advanced MS Excel skills and GAAP knowledge.
• Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
• Strong leadership and communication to mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day transactions (AP, AR, cash receipts, payroll).
• Prepare month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure proper revenue and expense recognition and GAAP compliance.
• Monitor cash and investments; forecast cash flow.
• Assist with external audits and tax filings.
