Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking an experienced accounting leader to direct and oversee the department's activities, monitor financial data, budgets, forecasts, and GAAP reporting. The role partners with the Controller to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.

You will ensure balance sheet reconciliations, SOX compliance, and provide actionable insights to operations leadership. This position reports to the Controller and requires 2–5 years in manufacturing finance and a Bachelor’s

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge is required.
• Ability to analyze financial data and explain variances.
• Strong leadership and team oversight.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee reconciliation processes to maintain GL integrity.
• Oversee A/R, A/P and payroll functions within the operation.
• Analyze forecasts and operating results and recommend corrective actions.
• Produce timely GAAP-compliant financial reports and statements.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and annual plans.
• Support SOX compliance and control processes.
• Assist in monthly close and journal entries for departmental charges.
• Provide financial insights to leadership on strategy and cost control.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors on reporting.
