Confidential High-Growth Aerospace & Defense Company in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to support the Corporate Controller during growth and integration. This role focuses on technical accounting, process improvements, and scalable finance operations in a fast-evolving environment.

The candidate should bring strong GAAP knowledge, multi-entity experience, and hands-on implementation of ASC 718, ASC 842, and related processes while ensuring audit readiness and high-quality

Qualifications

• Strong command of U.S. GAAP and ability to apply guidance practically
• Technical accounting areas including PPA, FV adjustments, ASC 718, ASC 842
• Experience with multi-entity accounting environments and consolidations
• Ability to build processes, templates, and documentation in evolving environments
• Excellent analytical skills and ownership mindset

Responsibilities

• Support purchase accounting related to acquisitions and OBS updates
• Draft technical accounting memos and develop accounting policies
• Assist with financial statement footnotes and reporting processes
• Oversee share-based compensation and lease accounting implementations
• Improve month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting templates
