Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, strong Excel skills.
• General knowledge of GAAP.
• Detail-oriented with accurate data entry.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Organized and self-motivated team player.
• Experience with QuickBooks/NetSuite preferred but not required.
• 5-7 years of accounting experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, review and pay vendors and misc office expense bills.
• Book and reconcile bank transactions and communicate with banks/vendors to resolve issues.
• Manage, book and reconcile business credit card transactions and collect receipts.
• Review and process employee travel expenses.
• Receive and reconcile customer payments and other payments.
• Journal entries and account reconciliations in QuickBooks; assist in invoice processing and collections.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
• Assist with internal controls and accounting process improvements.
• Assist with annual auditing and ad-hoc projects.
