Job summary

ITW’s E.H. Wachs division in Lincolnshire, IL seeks an Accountant to join the onsite accounting team. You will drive results by preparing, interpreting and communicating division financial information, collaborating across departments, and applying ITW controls and procedures.

The role emphasizes data-driven insights, monthly closes, budgeting, and cross-functional partnership to support business objectives. A strong detail orientation and leadership mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 1–2 years of broad accounting experience (3–5 years preferred).
• ERP and financial reporting software experience required.
• Advanced MS Excel and MS Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial statements and reconcile ledger accounts.
• Provide budget updates and department reporting.
• Deliver ad-hoc financial analyses to support decision-making.
• Assist with tax reporting.
• Support inventory analysis and cost control.
