DSS Distributing, Inc. is a strategic wholesale partner of Bon Appetit Gourmet Pastries and Big Russ Beer Cheese. Providing direct representation of these major brands, DSS Distributing develops and maintains business relationships with over 50 wholesale suppliers in the United States.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Strategic Account Sales Manager. The Strategic Account Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key strategic accounts. They will develop and execute account plans, identify new business opportunities, and drive customer satisfaction and retention. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of products and services to customers.

Qualifications

  • 5 years minimum food sales account management experience (Food brokerage experience preferred)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to understand customer needs and align them with company solutions
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience in the C-Store channel is a plus
  • Ability to travel nationally extensively and internationally upon occasion.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, etc.) as well as web hosted CRM programs
