Role Overview

AMDT is the world's market leader for data management in highly automated industrial enterprises. We develop software to provide disaster recovery, version control, change detection, and management for smart production machinery and other devices used in manufacturing and industrial sectors. Our new platform, octoplant, builds upon our existing solutions Versiondog and AutoSave, serving over 2500 companies worldwide, including leading automotive, food, water, life science, and mining firms. octoplant offers a vendor-independent, comprehensive view of all automation processes involving OT and IT, protecting against production downtime and data loss, while enhancing cybersecurity. AMDT operates globally with offices in Germany, the US, and China, and a network of over 100 partners.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Strategic Account Manager with experience in manufacturing automation.

Compensation is competitive and based on experience and qualifications, including a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k, etc.). Note that salary ranges may vary by location, and additional bonuses and incentives may apply.

Your Tasks

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contact prospective customers to assess their needs and interest in our products and services
  • Perform sales presentations and ensure resources are available for effective demos
  • Maintain knowledge of our products, services, and competitors
  • Maintain sales records and prepare reports
  • Build and sustain positive customer relationships to maximize satisfaction and sales
  • Schedule and conduct web demonstrations, maintaining detailed notes in our lead tracking system
  • Experience with Salesforce and Hubspot is preferred
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer service, and support teams
  • Willingness to work remotely, supporting virtual sales and customer interactions
Your Profile

Requirements:

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • 5+ years of product sales experience, preferably in manufacturing software or hardware
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
