Job description

Physician Engagement Manager / Key Account Manager - Hematology/Oncology

Massive Bio, a rapidly growing health-tech startup founded in 2015, is dedicated to providing every cancer patient with access to clinical trials, regardless of their location or financial status. Our proprietary patient recruitment and enrollment enablement solution for oncology clinical trials addresses every point of friction in traditional enrollment processes. Privately held and headquartered in Boca Raton, FL, our passionate team of changemakers is seeking an Account Manager based in the West Coast for time zone coverage, though this is a remote opportunity. You will be supporting the growth of our provider engagement operations in the US Midwest and West Coast. As a key member of our Provider Engagement Team, you will act as a liaison between physicians in your territory and various internal and external stakeholders. Your role will involve helping physicians who treat cancer patients understand the benefits of partnering with Massive Bio, educating them on clinical trial options for their patients, and ensuring successful engagement. We seek a team player who is energetic, hardworking, and has a go-getter attitude. While a network of oncologists is ideal, it is not required. The most critical attribute we seek is a candidate who is dedicated, willing to work hard, and focused on revolutionizing cancer care.

Reporting to the Physician Engagement Lead, you will:

  • Build formal relationships with key treating oncologists and physicians.

  • Educate healthcare providers about the features and advantages of the Massive Bio clinical platform.

  • Contribute to the Provider Engagement Team’s strategic mapping efforts, identifying targeted physicians relevant to Massive Bio’s contracted Clinical Trials based on therapeutic area and location.

  • Visit clinics and healthcare facilities across the United States to engage with physicians and medical professionals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians and healthcare teams.

  • Follow up with healthcare providers to track the outcomes and results of their engagement with our platform.

  • Update and maintain accurate records of physician interactions and outcomes in the company's CRM platform.

  • Report on engagement progress, feedback, and insights to the Medical Network Manager and VP of the team in the USA.

  • Perform data management responsibilities, strategic analysis, and regular reporting.

Candidate Profile

  • A bachelor's degree is required; a background in the medical field is preferred.

  • Experience in Pharma, Biotech, or NGS with a clinical network of oncologists is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; programming knowledge is a plus.

  • Willingness and ability to learn and adapt to new information and technologies.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, with strong conversational and sales skills.

  • Ability to work independently and remotely with excellent personal and communication skills.

  • Willingness to travel at least one week per month to various states in the USA.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • At least 2 years of project management experience.

  • Prior experience in healthcare services and/or working with payers, value-based care models, and/or integrated healthcare models.

  • Must be a resident or citizen of the USA.
