Job summary

Elkhart Plastics, a Myers Industries company, seeks an Account Manager to grow relationships for custom rotomolded products in the Indiana region. You will liaise between plants and customers, ensuring accurate information flow and meeting customer requirements.

The role emphasizes developing new business, supporting product development, maintaining Salesforce records, and negotiating contracts. Will travel within territory and work remotely as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, engineering or related field.
• Plastics manufacturing experience preferred.
• 2–3 years' experience developing relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customer relations to expand business in rotomolded products.
• Support new products’ development and communicate with customers during production.
• Maintain customer information and communications in Salesforce.
• Prepare quotes and negotiate contracts with accounts.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality and Production to meet customer requirements.
• Attend industry trade shows and sales meetings.
