Job summary

Centene is seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage and maintain assigned accounts, oversee implementations, and build strong client relationships across our care services. You will train clients, coordinate product enhancements, and serve as a liaison among departments to ensure contract compliance.

Preferred candidates are in the Eastern or Central Time zones, with travel as needed. The role offers a competitive pay range and a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related account management or client services experience.
• Vendor Management experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain assigned account and client relationships and service responsibilities.
• Assist in project management of contract implementations and establish strong account relationships.
• Provide training to clients on products and services.
• Coordinate design, development and rollout of product enhancements and related projects.
• Complete site visits, conference calls and vendor meetings with accounts.
• Act as liaison between contracts and company operations on account issues.
• Coordinate with Quality Improvement on account complaints and follow-up.
• Work with staff to resolve problems or complaints and close account issues.
• Assist the Director of Quality and Compliance & CEO with Account Corrective Action Plans.
• Support sales and business development; assist in RFPs and expansion of new business.
• Translate client requests into actionable items for operations, call center or product teams.
• Provide strategic insights about products and services to management, peers and clients.
• Monitor regulatory changes for all states of operation and travel as needed.
