A leading company in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to develop partnerships with key global clients. This full-time role involves building long-term relationships, upselling solutions, and managing client engagements. Candidates should have extensive sales experience, particularly with large pharmaceutical clients, and a strong educational background.
As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be responsible for securing, building, and developing partnerships with Clarivate's most important global clients in key markets. Successful candidates will have an active network of key stakeholders within Clinical, Marketing, Access, and Commercial teams, employing consultative sales skills to identify, qualify, and deliver innovative solutions to customer problems. Our goal is to elevate client conversations to address key issues and meet strategic objectives.
You will focus on expanding existing relationships, increasing engagement within the customer organization, and up-selling or cross-selling new solutions and services to core persona groups.
Our LS&H vertical serves over 2,000 clients and generates more than $0.5 billion in revenue. Clients subscribe to a range of Clarivate solutions, including workflow tools, data analytics, and insights that support innovation, R&D, and commercialization in pharma and biotech sectors. These solutions facilitate drug discovery, IP protection, and bringing new medicines and devices to market.
Major clients account for approximately 35% of our business unit’s revenue and involve complex, multi-dimensional relationships.
This is a full-time role, primarily during core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility for global time zones as needed.
The base salary ranges from $145,000 to $185,000 annually, plus an annual on-target commission of $97,000 to $145,000. Compensation is based on experience, education, skills, and relevant factors.
