In this high-impact role, you’ll be responsible for sales and revenue growth, strategic account planning, and delivering exceptional service in collaboration with a dynamic, high-performing team.

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of financial technology by identifying opportunities, negotiating complex deals, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will:

  • Own the end-to-end customer relationship for a defined global book of business.
  • Lead all commercial activities within mature client accounts, ensuring alignment with client strategies and priorities.
  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand client adoption of LSEG’s solutions.
  • Collaborate with product and specialist teams to introduce broader solution offerings.
  • Drive revenue retention by maintaining high levels of customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Navigate complex negotiations and close deals that deliver value to both the client and LSEG.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through teamwork, initiative, and a client-first mindset.

Qualifications & Experience

We’re looking for candidates who bring:

  • 5 years of experience in relationship management, enterprise sales, or a customer-facing role within financial services or technology.
  • A strong understanding of client business models, workflows, and the financial technology landscape.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions and resolve client concerns.
  • A proven track record of identifying and monetizing opportunities with both new and existing clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to structure and present solutions clearly.
  • Experience delivering presentations to senior executives and business stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across global teams.
  • A university or college degree is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $0 - $0.

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match. LSEG’s Benefits plan also includes basic life insurance, disability benefits, emergency backup dependent care, adoption assistance commuter assistance etc.
