IDBS helps BioPharma organizations utilize AI/ML to improve patient lives. We serve 80% of the top 20 global BioPharma companies with cloud software and services designed for the evolving BioPharma sector.

The Strategic Account Executive will drive customer acquisition through SaaS bookings and ARR growth within a targeted portfolio of BioPharma, pharmaceutical, and CRO/CDMO accounts. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Strategic Accounts, this role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to expand SaaS business, supporting key organizations across the biopharma lifecycle.

This is a remote position, preferably based on the East Coast, with travel to North America and EMEA target accounts, including visits to our Boston (USA) and Woking (UK) offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Forge executive relationships and deliver growth in key customer accounts, executing strategic plans with rigorous management and reporting.
  2. Engage with stakeholders through in-person visits to foster relationships and influence strategic growth.
  3. Lead cross-functional teams to win and expand customer accounts, owning account strategy and execution via SFDC.
  4. Drive new logo acquisition and ARR expansion, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely bookings.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Proven success in closing enterprise SaaS deals (> $1M ARR).
  • 8+ years of senior sales experience, managing complex sales cycles (12–18 months).
  • Experience engaging C-Suite decision makers in consultative sales for multi-million dollar SaaS deals.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding SaaS sales targets, with strategic planning capabilities.
  • Understanding of R&D or manufacturing challenges within BioPharma and CDMO markets.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% regularly.
Preferred Experience:
  • Pharmaceutical and life sciences sales background.
  • Experience with Challenger sales methodology.
  • Scientific background in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, or Process Engineering.

We offer comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, 401(k), and remote work flexibility. The salary range is $135,000–$155,000, plus bonus/incentives.
