You will own account strategy, forecast multi‑year plans, and coordinate with internal teams to align institutional goals with Cengage products and pricing models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• 5+ years of successful educational or enterprise-level sales experience.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to own strategic account plans with long‑term revenue accountability.
• Deep understanding of higher‑education institutional decision‑making structures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex contract negotiations with senior academic and administrative leaders.
• Own account strategy and forecast for each institution within the territory.
• Develop multi-year growth, retention, and expansion plans aligned with institutional priorities.
• Identify high-impact opportunities and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive outcomes.
• Drive revenue growth and renewals through upsell, expansion, and strategic partnerships.
• Communicate value propositions and capstone ROI to executives and stakeholders.
