University of Wisconsin–Madison invites an ambitious Academic Planner (II) to shape CAI’s academic strategy. This role partners with leadership to design, evaluate, and govern programs and courses reflecting the role of computing and AI in education and society.

You will build data products and governance processes to support CAI’s mission and growth. The Academic Planner will support governance, proposals, analytics, and reporting, potentially supervising planning staff, and aligning CAI

Qualifications

• Two years or more of relevant work experience in higher education with direct experience with academic and curricular planning or administration.
• Experience with facilitating complex and/or long-term initiatives.
• Proficient use of technology and digital tools to analyze data for decision making.

Responsibilities

• Designs and delivers directed academic planning and programs messaging to internal and external audiences; maintains records of academic, curricular, and course changes.
• Directs collaborative activities across units, schools, colleges, and divisions.
• Reviews proposals for new academic programs and coursework to ensure policy compliance.
• Collects and analyzes academic program information and prepares reports on activity patterns.
