Job summary

The American Nurses Enterprise (ANE) seeks a Strategic Communications and Marketing Specialist for AI Programs to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across strategy, content, SEO, marketing automation, and paid media. You will use AI tools to drive efficiency and manage end-to-end campaigns targeting nurses and health audiences.

The role is grant-funded for 3 years, reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing, with a dotted-line to the VP of AI and Digital Health Programs.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in digital marketing, spanning SEO, content strategy, paid media, and marketing automation.
• Excellent writing and editing for audience-appropriate messaging.
• Experience with SEO tools (GA, SEMrush, Moz) and CRM/email platforms (HubSpot).
• Ability to analyze data and adjust strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage program communications and marketing strategies with defined KPIs.
• Execute campaigns across paid, owned, and social channels including Google Ads.
• Create personalized content journeys and conduct A/B tests on subject lines and CTAs.
• Monitor audience targeting and ROI, and optimize creative and bidding.
• Oversee influencer partnerships to extend reach.
• Identify AI tools to improve campaign efficiency.

Career Summary

The American Nurses Enterprise (ANE) is seeking to hire a Strategic Communications and Marketing Specialist, AI Programs. The American Nurses Enterprise is looking for a data-driven communications and marketing professional to help nurses discover and benefit from our AI and digital-health programs. In this role, you'll plan, execute, and optimize the campaigns that bring these programs to the right audiences; and you'll use modern marketing technology, including AI tools, to do it efficiently. You'll own campaigns end-to-end across strategic communications, content, SEO, marketing automation, and paid media, managing everything from content creation and audience targeting, to distribution, performance, and reporting. It's a broad, hands-on role for someone who thrives on both strategy and execution, and who's excited to help shape how a mission-driven organization reaches the nursing community. The position is grant-funded for 3 years and reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing within the Communications and Strategic Engagement Team, with a dotted-line relationship to the Vice President, AI and Digital Health Programs. What You Will Do

Strategy & Campaigns

• Develop and manage communications and marketing strategies and plans for the program, ensuring defined KPIs are met.
• Devise and run campaigns across paid, owned, and shared channels, including social media, Google Ads, and other relevant platforms.
• Develop and execute personalized content journeys, and continuously A/B test subject lines, messaging, and CTAs to improve performance.
• Optimize audience targeting, bidding strategies, and creative to maximize ROI.
• Oversee influencer partnerships that extend program reach and credibility.
• Identify and recommend AI tools and innovations that improve campaign efficiency and ROI.

Project Management & Execution

• Lead end-to-end campaign execution, keeping every moving part aligned with goals and deadlines.
• Coordinate across internal teams and external vendors to keep work moving smoothly.
• Use project management tools (Workfront, Smartsheet, or similar) to track deliverables, milestones, and reporting.
• Monitor performance through analytics dashboards, and produce reports with clear insights, learnings, and recommendations.

What You Bring To The American Nurses Enterprise

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in degree in Marketing, Marketing Communications or Strategic Marketing.

Related Work Experience

• Five (5) or more years in digital marketing, spanning SEO, content strategy, paid media, and marketing automation.

Required Skills

• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, audience-appropriate messaging.
• Hands-on experience with SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz), CRM/email platforms (e.g., HubSpot), and paid media (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and adjust strategy accordingly.
• Experience managing projects across multiple stakeholders, with a track record of keeping work efficient and on time.
• Practical experience using AI tools in a marketing or communications workflow.
• Comfort in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, juggling multiple priorities.
• An optimistic, flexible, solution-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or membership/association settings.
• College degree in Marketing, Marketing Communications or Strategic Marketing.
