Responsibilities

• Assists in removing coils from a rewinder reel using coil carriers, transports coils to a conveyor system.
• Visually inspects coils for obvious defects or markings, not consistent with quality objectives.
• Transfers spools containing slit steel strapping to welding position.
• Spot welds individual straps at appropriate time interval.
• Assists in correcting production delays and size changeovers.
• Moves about 1400 coils per day.

SHIFT: Monday-Friday, 11am-11pm. Sometimes a shortly Friday, you will need to be flexible.

DUTIES:

• Assists in the removal of coils from a rewinder reel using coil carriers, transports coils from the rewinders to a conveyor system.
• Visually inspects coils for obvious defects or markings, not consistent with our quality objectives.
• Transfer spools containing slit steel strapping to welding position.
• Spot weld individual straps at appropriate time interval.
• Assist in correcting production delays and product size changeovers.
• Moving about 1400 coils per day
